PurelyPope Wedding: Our Naples Wedding Invites
Ahhh our wedding invites are officially in our guests’ hands – which means I can share them with YOU! I’ve taken you every step of the way, from the engagement to the save the dates to the proposal boxes to bachelorette to the bachelorette fashion – and I don’t plan on stopping, LOL! These invites are giving a preview of the overall wedding vibe, and I felt that they set the tone for the wedding, so they were very important to me. Let’s get into the details..
Naples Wedding Invites: The Specifics
- The Idea
- As I mentioned above, it was important to me for these invites to match the vibe and feel of our wedding. I wanted to give a sneak peek into the experience of what the weekend will be, and the vision truly came to life in the best way! You can peep all of my inspiration on my Pinterest board here.
- The Execution
- Once I had my idea in my head, I did what I always do and I went to my brother to design it. If you’re looking for a custom design, I would recommend reaching out to him via his website here. He’s an absolute creative genius! He designed this website, our save the dates, the invites and SO MUCH MORE!
- The Goods & Details
- Envelopes: We ordered these ‘Quartz Metallic’ envelopes in bulk – we got about 50 extra which you’ll need, especially if you’re handwriting to makeup for any mistakes! They’re silky soft and have a great shimmer to them too. They also had pull and peel stick which saved us time too!
- Stamps: USPS doesn’t do custom stamps anymore, but I still wanted the stamps to match the aesthetic and vibe. I went with these $1 stamps from USPS so that it would cover the invite in full! I also paired a vintage Forever Stamp from Etsy of the Florida Everglades to connect the destination. I absolutely LOVE when the invites tip their hat towards the destination, and these fit the bill!
-
- Custom Map: I was able to find this AMAZING artist on Etsy to make the custom watercolor map for us. As it’s a lot of our guests’ first time to Naples, I wanted to give them a lay of the land + create a fun keepsake for us and them to have. The details are amazing..it includes everything from where we’re getting married to where the rehearsal dinner will be to my parents house! I mean, can you even?! She’s able to do this for ANY destination if you’re interested!
- The Invite Cards: These were ordered through a trade printer, which my brother handled. We went with a super silky finished and raised UV to make them luxe! We included an invite card, details card and RSVP card. We decided to collect RSVPs via our website, which I’m so happy that we did because it’s much more simple to track everything and easier for the guest experience too!
- Jackets: All of the cards and map were enclosed in a White Translucent Vellum Jacket, which I ordered off of amazon, and we secured them with a fresh palm leaf, which I ordered from Palm Distributers!
- Return Address Stamp: I ordered this on Etsy, and I used it for our Save The Dates as well, and this is where I ordered it from. Be sure to stamp these before the envelopes are stuffed so that
- Custom Wax Seal & Wax: We ordered a custom wax seal stamp of our logo (my brother designed this), which I ordered on Etsy. I then got the white wax off of amazon – and the green wax off of amazon as well. We did the white seal on the inside jacket and a green seal on the outer envelope.
- Pens: I used these green gel pens to address the envelopes. I did it myself, and took inspiration from google – I looked at a lot of invites and calligraphy script while I was addressing!
And that’s a wrap! Stay tuned for more details on the wedding coming your way very soon! xo Alysia (Purely) Pope
